Universal Design Bathrooms

Sacramento Universal Design Bathroom

Our latest clients daughter is wheelchair bound and required a space that was ADA accessible.

For this transformation we removed a wall that separated the toilet and shower area from the vanity. We used Waypoint’s universal design vanity cabinets with matching medicine cabinet in their Harbor finish with Cambria’s Praa Sands quartz. Riobel’s Equinox collection for the faucet and shower fixtures in a chrome finish dressed up the space.

The high-quality shower surround featured is from Best Bath. This model has a curbless shower entry with a removable rubber water stopper, perfect for their daughter’s wheelchair. All grab bars are in chrome to match the faucet fixtures and help with the daughter’s independent mobility.

Emser’s Milestone White in a 12 x 24 size porcelain tile meets right up to the shower pan along with the tile in the hallway, removing the need for a transition piece. New LED lighting fixtures and paint finish off the transformation.

Sacramento Aging In Place Bathroom Design

Elk Grove ADA Bathroom Design

In this Bathroom remodel, your traditional ADA out fittings are redefined. Using an open entry to the shower allowed us to create a slight rise in the shower floor for wheelchair access and plenty of open space for full 360-degree turns. This Invisia curved Accent ring, gives you the same function as a traditional grab bar, with a sophisticated twist, while Mid- Continent Cabinetry, in White, is classic. Caesarstone countertops in Dreamy Marfil are the perfect neutrals that add to this gorgeous design. Lastly, the unique design of the Robern Uplift Medicine cabinet allows for maximized storage in the space.
